This private residence was designed on a subdivided plot in Illovo. The client’s brief was to create a contemporary family home that could be built in phases, with an integrated private cottage, public ground floor areas that open onto the gardens.-whilst the private areas were on the upper floors overlooking the cityscape. The lost green space on the ground was replaced by gardens in the upper floor and roof level.
