The project brief was to sensitively respond to the context and maximise the views and experience of the reserve. The design works with the architectural guidelines of the Kloof and simultaneously responds to the client’s desire for a building with an industrial interior feel. The result is a playful contrast of natural and contemporary materials; a masked modern abode nestled along the valley.
